5th International Workshop on Security Engineering for Cloud Computing (IWSECC 2022)
to be held in conjunction with the 17th International Conference on Availability, Reliability and Security
(ARES 2022 –
http://www.ares-conference.eu
)
August 23 – August 26, 2022
Nowadays, the cloud has become part of our lives, where in addition to its own functions, it has become the center of several other emerging technologies such as edge computing, fog computing, 5G, blockchain, and IoT. The combination of these complex systems has brought serious threats to privacy and security. New attacks are appearing every day, which makes research on cybersecurity to become a critical study. The systematic application of software and security engineering to the cloud and these new technologies is essential to produce secure systems.
This 5th edition of the workshop is dedicated to exploring techniques for designing and implementing security mechanisms in cloud-based systems and related technologies such as fog computing, edge computing, 5G, blockchain, and IoT. It also focuses on security aspects such as Trusted Computing, SGX, ARM TrustZone, TPM, Knox, smartcards, etc. We look for security analysis of the devices themselves, detection of new vulnerabilities, and proposals for secure solutions.
Topics of interest include, but are not limited to
Security Engineering methodologies
Security Patterns
Secure Architecture Evolution
Forensics in Clouds
Security Engineering Theory and Practice
Trusted Computing Solutions
Fog Computing Security & Privacy
Trusted Execution Environments
Blockchain
Secure architectures for IoT
Microservices security
