International Workshop on Privacy and Security of Multi-Modal Transport Systems (IWPSMTS 2022)
to be held in conjunction with the 17th International Conference on Availability, Reliability and Security
(ARES 2022 –
http://www.ares-conference.eu
)
August 23 – August 26, 2022
This workshop aims at providing a forum for researchers and engineers in academia and industry to foster an exchange of research results, experiences, and products in the domain of security and privacy for multi-modal transport systems. We will present the advancement on the state of art in these fields and the adoption of developed technologies in several scenarios involving pilots from the domain.
Related Project: E-CORRIDOR ( https://e-corridor.eu/ ) aims at providing a flexible, secure and privacy aware framework allowing confidential, distributed and edge enabled security services, as threat analysis and prevention as well as privacy aware seamless access mechanism in multi-modal transport systems. E-CORRIDOR’s mission is to define a framework for multi-modal transport systems, which provides secure advanced services for passengers and transport operators. The framework includes collaborative privacy-aware edge-enabled information sharing, analysis and protection as a service.
The Symposium will be held in conjunction with ARES 2022 and will offer you the following opportunities:
- Disseminate the results of your research projects
- Meet potential project partners
- Exchange ideas within the scientific community
We will not have a call for papers but rather we invite national and international projects in this area to contact us and to propose talks or other presentations such as demos of their results .
We welcome contributions on topics related to the field of multi-modal transport security such as connected cars, vehicular networks, avionics, railways, shipping, as well as vehicular / railway / avionics / transport security operation centers, etc.
We also welcome other related projects to join the committee for organization of this workshop.
Topics include, but are not limited to
Architecture, design, and implementation of safe and secure multi-modal transport systems
Digitization and networking of the control and safety technology of the railway
Security and privacy of connected and autonomous vehicles
Security of in-vehicle communication protocols
Security threats and vulnerabilities in the Internet of vehicles and transport systems
Security and privacy of e-charging and related infrastructure
Privacy of transport systems data
Trustworthy Platforms for multi-modal transport systems
Standardization and interoperability of connected vehicles and multi-modal transport systems
